Terms & Conditions

1. All amphibians must be collected in person from the premises unless by prior agreement. Couriers will only be used during warmer months and must be arranged and paid for in advance by the customer. DARTFROG.IE WILL NOT GUARANTEE LIVESTOCK SENT BY COURIER.

2. Amphibians will be given a 24 hour guarantee when collected in person, after this period we cannot be held responsible as we will not have control of how the animals are housed and cared for.

3. Dartfrog.ie reserves the right to refuse sale of amphibians if it deems, in our own opinion, the person incapable of maintaining the animals correctly. This is an animal welfare issue and we will always exercise this right if necessary.

4. Live food and plants will be guaranteed live on arrival when next day delivery is used. When standard delivery is used no guarantee is offered.

5. Glass vivaria will be sent by post but due to the fragile nature of these, if damaged in transit, replacements will be sent but at the cost price of the replacement plus post and package costs.

6. All damaged goods, dead livefood or plants must be reported to us as soon as received by the customer. Any damages reported more than 24hrs after delivery will not be replaced under our guarantee.

7. We will reserve animals and goods for a maximum of 21 days after a deposit of 50% has been received. After this period the animals or goods will be put back for sale. Deposits are non-refundable unless dartfrog.ie is unable to provide animals or goods, in this case deposits will be repaid in full.

8. We will always try to send out orders as soon as we receive them, but please allow 21 days for delivery as some items need to be ordered in as not all items are kept in stock. Livefood and plants will always be sent at the begining of the week so they are not held up over the weekend. Please bear this in mind when ordering live items.
